Based in Portland, Oregon Mugwump utilizes all variety of recycled goods, from retro records & cast away vinyl banners to lost maps and your favorite childhood books. Making use of these re-purposed materials, and an industrial sewing machine, Mugwump creates handbags, clutches, passport covers, wallets and much more. Since 2001 this female owned and operated, micro-business has sold her products at stores across the country, in places such as the Space Needle in Seattle and the Bill Clinton museum in Little Rock. Sunflower Farmers Market has announced it will open a new full-service grocery store in Flagstaff, Arizona, adjacent to Northern Arizona University, by the end of 2012. The market will join Bookmans, Michaels, and Pier 1 Imports in the University Meadows Shopping Center located at 1560 S. Riordan Ranch Street. This Sunflower location will be the ninth in Arizona but the first in Flagstaff, and is expected to bring 100 jobs to the area along with the value-priced groceries Sunflower is known for.
